Halfpenny Cottage has a secluded, peaceful location. Its elevated position gives beautiful views over Knock Bay and the mainland mountains to Knoydart which can be enjoyed both from the cottage and seating areas in the large grassed garden, bordered by croftland and a burn.
The sea shore is just a three minute walk away along a crofters' path.
There is a Distillery, Hotel and restaurant within 10-15 minutes walk. Being just 17 miles from the Skye bridge and 4 miles from Armadale the cottage is a good base to explore both the island and mainland areas such as Plockton.
