Our log cabin is bespoke, newly built in 2019 and situated on our traditional working croft in Bracadale on the Isle of Skye.

Nestled in the lovely quiet Totarder Glen, you will find just what you need for a restful break. The perfect place to enjoy the abundant wildlife and spectacular scenery.

Details

The cabin has both a rustic and modern feel and comprises of a studio style space with open plan kitchen, living room and bed area with a standard UK sized double bed, with separate walk-in shower room with wash basin and WC.

The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, kettle, toaster, George Foreman grill, fridge, cooking equipment and hob.

In the lounge area there is a 32" TV, satellite TV, Blu-ray DVD player, WIFI, electric stove and a selection of games and books.

Outside we hope you will enjoy our decking area with patio furniture.

Location

The quickest route for most guests is via the A82 road to the Skye Bridge (you can choose to go via Mallaig and a ferry, but this may take longer due to ferry timetables.

Directions from the Skye Bridge
When you reach the Isle of Skye Bridge keep on the A87 towards Portree. When you reach Sligachan Hotel take a left A863 towards Dunvegan. Keep on this road for 12 miles. One mile past Gesto and just after the causeway, take a right onto the B885. Then an immediate right to Lower Totarder. Keep on this road for 1 mile. Our cabin is on the left.

Directions from Portree
If you are travelling from Portree from the village square take a right at the junction opposite the yellow hostel. Then a right at the high school junction. Past the traffic lights and second left onto the B885 single track road to Struan. Travel on the road for exactly 9 miles. Just before the main junction to Dunvegan/Sligachan take an immediate left along the lochside. We are one mile along this road.
