Scavaig View is located in the small crofting/fishing community of Elgol, and has a magnificent view of the Cuillin mountain range. Newly renovated the self-catering house is ideally situated for climbing and walking or just to enjoy a leisurely and relaxing holiday. Furnished to a high standard, the house will sleep up to 6 people.


[Island cottage]

In the village there is a small shop and post office, there is also a licensed restaurant and coffee shop. Possible activities include boat trips to the heart of the Cuillins, exploring the shore-line and a wide range of walks and climbs.

Elgol is 15 miles from the larger village of Broadford, and approximately 40 miles from Portree, the island's capital.

Accommodation

Accommodation comprises of kitchen/dining room, living room, bathroom, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, and 1 bedroom with bunk beds.

Facilities include gas cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, automatic washing machine, iron/ironing board, colour tv/video, and cd player.

Bed linen and towels are provided at no extra cost.

The house is heated by electric central heating and this is also included in the cost of accommodation.

Non smokers only.

Sorry no pets.

The owners ensure that everything is maintained to a high standard. They live close by and will provide every assistance to ensure that your stay is enjoyable.

How To Find Scavaig View

Once you are on Skye, drive to Broadford on the A87. Branch off to your left at the junction for the Broadford Hotel and you will then be on the road to Elgol - B8083. Continue driving on this single track road for approximately 15 miles and you will have reached your destination.

Scavaig View is on the left hand side of the road.
