It is close to the village of Broadford, a central point for day trips to the Island's capital town of Portree in the north and Dunvegan to the West. Elgol and Sleat, known as the Garden of Skye, are a short drive away.

Broadford's many shops and facilities such as bank, Post Office, supermarket, bakery, 24 hour laundrette, petrol station and several restaurants are all within very easy distances from Maltby.

The area is ideal for hill walking, mountaineering and cycling. The bird and wildlife on Skye is exceptional with regular sitings of buzzards, eagles and otters.

We are just 5 minutes away from a beautiful sandy beach at Ashaig which is a bird watcher's paradise.

And you should see the stars here! The polution free atmosphere makes stargazing an unforgettable and awe-inspiring experience. Coupled with the spectacular Skye sunsets - what more could one ask for!
