The Longhouse at Tokavaig is set in native woodlands on the west coat of the Sleat peninsular of Skye with views over Canna, Rhum and the Cuillins. Tokavaig is 6 miles down a single track road from the main Broadford Armadale road. There are easy coast and hill walks nearby to Ord and Tarskavaig. The Cuillins and the Kintail hills are 1 - 2 hours away and Knoydart is a boat ride away. The sunsets over the hills and sea are staggering.

There is a huge kitchen/dining room with a table for 12 and staggering views west. The kitchen has a gas hob and electric oven, fridge, dishwasher, coffee grinder and breadmaking machine. The sitting room with views of Blaven has an open fire, TV with DVD and video. Washing machine, underfloor heating, electricity, sheets and towels and a supply of wood all included.

Cross the bridge. Turn right at the roundabout. Travel north on the A87 towards Broadford for 7½ miles. At the junction with the A851 turn left for Armadale. After around 11 miles turn right (signposted for Ord, Tokavaig & Tarskavaig). Follow that road to Ord and then on to Tokavaig. The Longhouse is on the lefthand side of the road as you drive downhill towards the bay. There is a short approach road, marked by a road sign indicating a downhill gradiant of 14%.
Travel up the A851 towards Broadford. As you reach Sabhal Mor Ostaig, turn left (signposted for Tarskavaig, Tokavaig and Ord). Follow that road to Tarskavaig and on to Tokavaig. The Longhouse is on the righthand side of the road as you drive uphill away from the Ob Gauscavaig bay. There is a short approach road.
