How to Find Loch Aluinn

Loch Aluinn is 11 miles from Portree.

From the Skye Bridge, the Mallaig to Armadale ferry, or the Glenelg to Kyle Rhea ferry, head for Broadford. From Broadford continue along the A87 to Sconser. Drive past the main village of Sconser, until you come to a sign advertising our accommodation.

Please drive carefully when accessing our driveway as it is on a sharp incline from the main road.  When coming along the Sligachan/Portree road you are advised to make use of the lay-by to allow for a wider turn onto our access.

Our location is shown on this On-line Map (Scale 1:50000). Grid Reference 513315.

For ferry travel from Mallaig to Armadale, or over to Raasay, see the Caledonian MacBrayne website.

Bed & Breakfast

We also offer Bed & Breakfast in our own home.
