Ceòl-na-Mara translated from the Gaelic means "Music of the Sea", a fitting name for this lovely traditionally built house overlooking the sea.
Your hosts Sam and Fay Gillies bought the property in 1984 and developed it into one of the most popular bed and breakfast establishments in the tranquil village of Kyleakin, "The Gateway to Skye".
Ideally situated for touring Skye and Wester Ross, Kyleakin is convenient to the railway station in Kyle of Lochalsh and to the bus routes.
Sea cruises, minibus tours to hidden parts of Skye, car and cycle hire are all available locally. Shops, restaurants and pubs are within walking distance.
Double, twin and family rooms are available, all with wash basins, hair dryers, hospitality trays and cassette radio alarms. Three shower rooms/bathrooms are provided for guests. One of the double rooms has en-suite facilities.
There is a television lounge. The house is centrally heated throughout and has plenty of parking space.
A warm welcome awaits you all year round.
Standard: £23 to £25 per person per night, including full Scottish breakfast.
En-suite: £27 to £30 per person per night, including full Scottish breakfast.

Head for the Skye Bridge. Take the Kyleakin exit off the roundabout at the Skye end of the bridge. Drive into Kyleakin and turn right by the Youth Hostel. We are a short distance along after that.
N.B. The Skye bridge is now free to cross - the tolls were abolished in December 2004.
If you are arriving by train at Kyle of Lochalsh, we can pick you up at the station if arranged in advance.
