Directions

From Portree, the main village on the island, take the A855 north towards Staffin. This starts as a stretch of single track road and then widens out into double track. You will drive past the "Old Man of Storr" and Storr Lochs, Kilt rock and waterfall, and then Staffin village. After you arrive in Stenscholl, Achtalean is signposted on the left.

The journey takes about 20 minutes.
