Pet friendly spacious self-catering flat for up to four non-smoking people

Taigh Ùr (New House) provides a self-catering flat situated in the picturesque village of Torrin, located between the Black and Red Cullins of Skye. Only 6 miles from Broadford, Torrin is well placed for exploring one of Skye's most scenic areas.

Possible activities include boat trips from Elgol to the heart of the Cullins, lazing on or exploring beaches and a wide range of walks and climbs on and around Blaven and the other nearby Skye hills and mountains. The area also provides opportunities to enjoy the natural wildlife including otters, birds and deer.

Accommodation

With space for 1 - 4 people, the flat accommodation consists of one double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a main living area, kitchen and a shower/bathroom/toilet. The main living area looks out to spectacular views of the Black Cuillins (see photos above for exact view from window!).

The apartment is located on the upper floor of a recently built croft house. It has a separate entrance/hallway which provides exquisite views of Loch Slapin and the Isle of Eigg.  There is plenty of space to hang jackets, leave shoes/boots etc. before heading upstairs.

The flat is fully furnished. There is a TV (with SKY BOX), VCR, DVD and CD/radio, gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. All sheets, bedding, towels and kitchen utensils etc. are provided. With central heating throughout, Taigh Ur, provides a cosy oasis ideal for couples, families and friends alike.

The owners, Paul and Becky, ensure that everything is maintained to a high standard. They live in the ground floor of the house and, if called upon, will provide every assistance to ensure your stay is enjoyable.

Outside the house is a fenced garden area with a washing line and benches. There is parking space for two cars adjacent to the entrance to the apartment and a patio area if you fancy sitting outside to relax or have a BBQ.

Shops, launderette, bank, post office and medical facilities are available in Broadford.

Tariff

April & May	£250 per week
June, July & August	£300 per week
September & October	£250 per week

All electricity and gas are included in the price. A non-returnable booking fee of 20% of the total is payable, the remainder to be paid on arrival.

Please plan to arrive after 4pm and to leave by 10am on the last day of your stay. If you plan to arrive later please telephone to let us know.

Directions

Once you arrive on the Isle of Skye take the A87 to Broadford, turning off at the Broadford Hotel and head towards Elgol. This road is the B8083 (marked as the A881 on some maps). Torrin is approximately 6 miles along this single track road.

When you reach Torrin (look out for the signpost on the left hand side of the road, by the entrance to the Skye Marble Quarry) turn off the main road taking the first left when you see a sign 9 TORRIN HOLIDAYS. Go through the gate and park to the left. Follow the road (on foot) until you see a sign for RECEPTION.
