Island hospitality on a working croft with Eriskay ponies.

3 Kilmore is a modern bungalow on a working croft in an elevated position at the south end of the Island, overlooking the sea towards the hills of Knoydart. The croft is home to Eriskay ponies, the rarest pony in Britain.

In addition the owners, Peter & Julie Macdonald, also run The Isle Of Skye Tour Guide Co. and can provide personalised tours to all parts of the Island.

Accommodation

We offer one en-suite double room.

All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities. There is a guest room with T.V.

The whole house is a non-smoking area.

In addition we also run the Flora Macdonald hostel which is self catering and has 4 rooms and 1 dormitory. It is situated 200 meters away.

Location

From the Skye Bridge

Cross the bridge then turn right at the roundabout, taking the A87 towards Portree. After about 7 miles turn left on to the A851 towards Armadale and Ardvasar. Drive along this road for about 13 miles. In the village of Kilmore turn right opposite the church. 3 Kilmore is just a little way along that road.

From the Mallaig-Armadale Ferry

Travel up the A851 towards Broadford. After about 2 miles, a little way beyond Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, turn left opposite Kilmore church, from which point we are signposted.
